Keck's Food Service prides itself in having one of the finest USDA inspected portion control steak programs available today. In addition to portion control steaks our extensive fresh beef, pork, poultry, lamb and veal selections make us second to none.
Our background in fresh meat processing dates back to our company's inception in 1964. With over 40 years experience in the food service industry, we truly understand the importance of consistency and quality for both our customers and yours.
Inventory control is an important benefit of our portion control
steak program. Exact count per box, no cutting or trim loss, and exact
portion costs allow management closer food cost controls. At Keck's,
the tolerance for exactness is strictly adhered to. Trim levels of 1/4
inch or less and portions cut within (+) or
(-) 1/2 once per steak are
standard.
To ensure freshness and extend shelf life, all of our steaks are vacuum packaged. When properly refrigerated this packaging should allow for a shelf life of up to 10 days from the date of delivery.
